GlassHouse Technologies Awarded GSA Schedule

New contract offering will help government IT departments sort through product hype to better optimize storage and backup environments

Framingham, MA – GlassHouse Technologies, the global leader in independent storage consulting and services, announced today that it has been awarded a five-year General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contract, Contract Number GS-35F-0588P, enabling civilian, U.S. defense and other federal agencies to procure GlassHouse's industry-recognized storage and backup services and consulting offerings.

Inclusion in the GSA schedule enables government and federal agencies and their civilian suppliers to procure a range of GlassHouse services and consulting through a simplified process and with favorable pricing. GlassHouse services and consulting offered on the GSA schedule include:

  • IT Systems and Analysis Services, FPDS Code D306, including evaluating and architecting storage operations, policies and procedures to assess, design and implement strategic storage solutions, Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), disaster recovery planning, archiving, Storage Area Networks (SANs) and other strategic storage initiatives.

  • IT Backup and Security Services, FPDS Code D310, including evaluating, designing and implementing enterprise backup, disaster recovery planning, archiving and security solutions, with associated policies and procedures.

  • IT Data Conversion Services, FPDS Code D311, including designing and developing the conversion plan; testing and conversion; and development of policies, procedures, plans and test plans for storage, backup and archiving data conversions.

  • Other Information Technology Services, FPDS Code D399, including project management, program management, training and documentation services for storage best practices, methodologies pertaining to the implementation of strategic storage and backup solutions, ILM, disaster recovery planning, archiving and SANs.
