Project Managers at GlassHouse manage a wide variety of technology and infrastructure related projects for clients primarily within the financial services and banking industries.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for but is not limited to the following:
Manage client expectations throughout the life cycle of the project:

Form a relationship with the client and project staff

Constantly and consistently communicate (status, issues, etc.) with the client

Schedule, hold, and lead client meetings

Act as the liaison between GlassHouse and the client
Manage teams towards a detailed project plan for the duration of the implementation

Proficiently manage team leads, staff, resources, and the client
-
Proactively identify, assess, and resolve issues across all streams of the project
-
Communicate/escalate issues to the Steering Committee as necessary
-
Ensure all project tasks are completed on-time and within-budget
Lead the project planning and execution phases of an implementation

Analyze the SOW for the project and define resource requirements
-
Identify, define, document, review, and maintain the project plan, resource plan, issues log, risk log, communication plan, and change control log

Review the business and technical requirements/specifications for the project
-
Review the test and transition plans for the project
Analyze out-of-scope requests and potential business developments
-
Identify and evaluate out-of-scope requests and raise to Steering Committee

Seek, identify, and propose new business development opportunities to the client
Requirements:
-
7+ years of functional project and/or program management experience
-
7+ years of functional IT experience (application development, infrastructure, and any of above mentioned industry subject matter expertise are all a plus)

Experience identifying, documenting, and maintaining project plans and issues logs
-
Experience navigating challenging organizations, managing internal and external resources, and aligning those resources towards common goals

Exposure to the inner workings of IT and/or Operations departments

Strong technical aptitude, organizational, analytical, and project management skills

Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
-
Overall proficiency in MS Office applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook

Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment

Must be a detail-oriented team player, self-starter, quick learner, and demonstrated leader
-
Role may require extensive travel.

Strong preference for candidates with previous Financial Services, Technical and/or Strategy consulting experience.
